The Computer Science & Technology Pathway is for students who are excited about the possibilities of Computer Technology. Students learn coding, 3D modeling, video editing, and more through a wide variety of projects. The classes are filled with hands-on activities using the latest high-tech tools and technology. Skyline provides courses in Coding, Digital Art, Computer Science, Digital Animation, 3D modeling, Game Design, and Digital Filmmaking.

Careers, College & Community

Students in this pathway explore careers that use computer science and technology such as: Computer Programmer/Coder, Web Designer, Social Media Designer/Manager, Animator, Filmmaker, Special Effects Designer, TV/Film Producer, Director, Editor, Camera Operator, Art Designer, Game Designer, 3D Modeler, Digital Artist, and more. A strong partnership with Berkeley City College helps springboard our students into the many computer science programs available at colleges and universities around the country. Another major community partner is the computer company giant SAP, who has generously provided mentorship opportunities for all of our students. In addition, we have relationships with a wide variety of computer and technology companies in the Bay Area such as Facebook, Google, Pandora, and Oakland Technology Exchange.
